That's what I decided to do... read it for myself. So what, it has a low star rating. The book is really good. Its biblical and everything that is in it (illuminati, freemasons, nwo, etc.) can be found out if you just research for yourselves. I must say that I am a pre-wrath believer (used to be pre-trib until I searched the scriptures myself in context) and was quite surprised to even find literature on this touchy topic. The characters come to life and pull you in from the beginning to the end. I cant wait to read the following series to see the development of previous and new characters alike. Good book. I would have given 4 or 4 1/2 stars, except there were some glaring factual errors, specifically relating to what organizations are where in the Middle East. These could have been easily corrected by the writer or editors/fact checkers.
Nonetheless, the book has some very good points to make about spiritual warfare, and the book is worth a quick read if only for this aspect.
This book kept me going back for more. I couldn't put it down. I've enjoyed reading other End Times Novels before and I liked the twists that this book had and the different interpretation of what Revelations says about the End Times. I also liked that scripture was used consistently throughout the storyline. It was also nice that there were the scripture references used in the storyline that I can look up at the end of the book.
This book really made me think about what will happen when the end days come. It has a very plausable storyline which has many elements already happening in the world today. I don't know if the rapture in Revelations is literal or allegory but either way it makes me think of my Christian walk and how am I a light to others in the world. We Christians do have a duty to Christ and God to spread the word of Christ to non believers. We don't want any to perish and this book really brings out how this can happen.
The only thing I had trouble with was that I could not easily click on the scripture references and go back to the story. With my , I had to go to the reference, remember the chapter and verse, close out of the book and go into my Bible, go to the referred passage to read it, close out of the bible, and then go back and reopen the book. I wish there was a link to the passages referenced, or that the actual passages were written out at the end of the book. Mayble can make a new edition with this option. But as soon as I finished this first book in the series, I quickly went into the store and downloaded the second book. I started the second book within seconds of downloading it and I can't put it down either. Plan on extra time when starting this series or buy the first two or three books at the same time before you begin reading. You won't regret it.
This book helps the reader along with a clearer understanding of the coming tribulation. The author is kind and sensitive not to tell the true horrors behind the occult as author Svali does because the general population has a difficult time with the truth.
Svalis work is nonfiction. A combo of both reads would benefit those whom God has prepared in advance.
There was a bit of a struggle with point of views and bouncing from head to head but overall - good work. I look forward to the next book.
My heart was thrilled as I read about people going through what I know to be true as the world marches toward the end of it's time controlled by satan. Even as fiction, this book thrilled my soul. I liked the explanations of the way satan's plans have been in the works for so many years. I personally disagreed with some of the theology, but the message is clear and based on Scripture. These events are coming...are you ready? Do you have Jesus in your heart?
The journey continues into the unknown and unexpected for Pastor Wally, Juanita, Pastor Gabriel and other believers and nonbelievers alike. I have really enjoyed the way the Author developed such a diverse group of characters and brings to light many possible scenarios how America in the end times may come into play and what possible demise we as citizens may succumb to and yet illustrate how good may over come evil and personal choice. The story is not just one sided and only seen for one characters view point but the reader becomes personally involved in each character as if the reader becomes the character at the time in both thoughts and emotions as well. Just when you think you have figured out what is going to happen next, you turn the page and just like life, what you expected would happen doesn't and you are sent off on another unexpected adventure.
I was so excited to find this book since it is about a mid-Tribulation rapture as you just can't find books written from that perspective. I was extremely disappointed though. Not only is the writing terrible, but the characters do not act like Christians. The author supposedly has a ministry blog and purports to know what he is talking about. I can't believe he is a real pastor or even a Christian. The things he has Christians doing in this book and the sequel are not godly and very dangerous. Like the old saying goes, "Do not try this at home, folks." His characters promote very dangerous spiritual activities such as pretending to have affairs and performing human sacrifices in order to trick the Anti-Christ. Do not waste your money on any of these books.
